1. Quiet the Mind
2. Manage Energy
3. Drop Into the Body
4. Establish Rhythm
5. Develop Focused Relaxation
6. Master Mental Imagery
7. Eliminate All Distractions from Your ONE FOCUS

know I just repeated what is outlined on the page called, “The 7 Keys.”
Repetition is needed to reinforce how to find the doorway to the zone.
We
all want to find the illusive sense of “touch,” which comes and
goes. In order to find your touch more easily, it’s important to
learn to be grounded, centered, and to move from core energy. You
want to play from “Power,” which is an aspect of Soul or Spirit, rather
than from “Force,” which is an aspect of ego or mind. “Playing
from Power” means letting go of how you “think” you get better at golf,
learning to quiet your mind, and trusting in the wisdom of your
body. After you have learned golf mechanics at a high level, it
is time to trust in the fact that your body knows how to swing and putt
correctly. It is time to realize that your mind is not your
friend. It fools you into believing that you can think your way
out of a problem, but it only interferes with “dropping into the zone,”
that illusive state of mind/body consciousness in which the game is
played through you. Through Mental Fitness Training we can lead
you up to the door of the zone. You cannot be taught how to open
that door, but you can learn how to reach that door by Mastering the 7
Keys.
